Colorado Springs Food Rescue is an organization founded in the Fall of 2013 by students at Colorado College with the goal of reducing hunger by providing at-risk individuals with nutritious foods donated by area businesses and food service organizations. Intercepting safe, edible food that users and distributors such as grocery stores, restaurants, cafeterias, specialty food retailers, farms, and other entities are going to throw away, CSFR delivers it immediately across town to charitable service facilities ready to serve it to hungry recipients.
